Marcus Davis Wants Gentlemens Agreement to Bang It Out

 Marcus Davis had an interesting proposition for fellow UFC welterweight Chris Lytle during a recent radio interview. Davis told TAGG Radio that he and Lytle would like to fight each other and he believes the clash would have the potential to be a crowd-pleasing war. With that in mind, he called on Lytle to enter into a “gentleman’s agreement” not to let the fight play out on the floor. “My pitch to Chris is, the first guy that starts grappling is a pussy, so let's not do that.
Let's just stand up and just beat the hell out of each other,” he said.
“If we get in a clinching scenario, and somebody wants to throw somebody or whatever, go ahead and do it. But let's not try to finish it on the ground. Let's stand up, and let's bang it out.”
Davis also called his decision loss to Mike Swick last month “boring” and said it “just disgusted me” to watch a replay.
