No offense but shouldn't you ask a doctor?

Man, sounds so gross, thank god its just a fungus Smile

An interesting quote from a doc:
"Wrestlers commonly spread it back and forth with their sweaty contact (tinea gladiatorum!)...." Smile

You need an anti-fungal cream like miconazole (Tinactin) or clotrimazole (Lotrimin).

Use for a week after it clears up to make sure its doesnt come back.

Its harder to get rid of if its in your hair/nails. There are oral anti-fungals you can use too.

Bleach will work, but then again so will the iron Wink Lotamin will work well, although it really will take a week or so for it to go away. The later that you start treatment, the worse it will be and the longer it will take to go away. Good luck. BTW, this is far more commonly spread by cat owners than wrestlers.

What about cat owning wrestlers?
Or better yet, cat owners who wrestle their cats? Laughing

Go to a hardware store by a bag of quick mix cement.
Damp the area down with water that has the ring worm and rub some of that cement mix on it.
Don't worry about the burning sensation it is just the "lye" in the cement mix killing the fungus and destroy you skin and muscle tissue but atleast the ringworm will be gone.
Don't dump water on it it will just make it worse put some vinegar on it.
Better yet don't do what I said to do.

Some peoples skin cant handle the bleach. It burns and scars some people, so be careful.

In addition to what other people are saying:

* Make sure you never wear your clothes twice without washing them.

* Change your bedsheets as often as possible (nightly if possible). Ringworm can get into your bedsheets, and you can keep reinfecting yourself. Also, wear something that covers your ringworm while you sleep (shirt, pants). Do not wear this piece of clothing more than once without washing.

* Do not go back to class until it is fully cleared up. Not only will you give it to someone else, but you will spread it over other parts of your body.

* Do not itch, or touch your ringworm (unless medicating). You will spread it.

* See a doctor as soon as possible to get some medication for it, if other methods are showing no sign of improvement.

* If you do decide to bleach your ringworm, make sure you put polysporin on it afterwards...or you will be left with a nasty scar.

* Get an antifungal shampoo (suchas Nizorol), and use it as a body lotion once-twice a week.
