JomQuery is Plugin For Joomla 1.5x to help solve the issue allowing you to run jQuery javascript library in nonConflict mode so it works with Mootools 1.12, and other libraries. No conflict mode removes the "$" operator from jQuery, allowing other libraries to use that operator.
